Liquid CO2
Firefighters run a sharply increased risk of cancer. They are exposed to toxic substances more frequently than anyone is. Despite it is a well-known topic, firefighters are still as vulnerable to toxic substances as they were in the past due to an inefficient gear decontamination.
Liquid CO2 washer lets CO2 penetrate into the deepest internal membrane pores and fibres of the exposed textiles, removing the most harmful and toxic particles.
It is also extremely efficient in removing oils and fats.
Wet washing
As wet washing is generally considered one of the most aggressive processes in the life cycle of a garment it is important to estimate when it is required due to safety and health requirements and when it is not necessary and can be cleaned by alternative methods (e.g. LCO2 decontamination).
We help firefighters with these decisions to ensure they are wearing safe and unharmful equipment with possible prolonging of the life expectancy of the garment.
Equipment decontamination
We provide decontamination and cleaning of helmets, breathing apparatuses, pressure cylinders, and other equipment that can not be cleaned in regular washers.
To provide the best possible quality of cleaning and decontamination great efforts are being put into research of most efficient cleaning methods, which depend mainly on 4 factors:
- Type and concentration of detergent
- Cleaning temperature
- Cleaning time
- Mechanical processes
Impregnation
There are many different impregnation methods on the market. They differ in efficiency of application, function, resistance to washing, reactivation methods and price.
We are following the latest developments and possibilities to be able to always offer the best possible solution for firefighter’s needs.
